“Ogapeter” Who is Ogapeter?
Ogapeter na that boy for street wey still dey hustle, am a musical artiste, I sing, I act and am also that guy that likes to enjoy himself.
What really got you into music?
The hustle got me into music, it got to an extend and I was like “what am i going to do to have this money” and before then I was so addicted to listening to music, to cut it short, I spoke to God that see what I wanted, I did prayer and fasting for some days and like play play I started writing songs, I do write like 3-4 songs a day, months later I recorded my first track and so on..
How would you describe your kind of music?
I can jump on any kind of sound but I do more of afro-pop.
Who inspires you in the music industry?
A lot of them, lemme say 2baba but”as long you dropping a good content am a fan of you.
Who would you like to collaborate with and why?
I choose olamide baddo, because he’s going to fit-in on my next project and he’s very supportive.
How did you get your stage name?
Peter is my middle name, so I added oga to it, so it becomes ogapeter
Has your family be supportive to you?
Music made almost everybody to hate me in my family, its only my mum that has nothing to say, “she didn’t say yes and she didn’t say No” because everyone has said all dey can but I still insisted I must do music. It wasn’t funny and easy at all.
How long have you been doing music?
I started writting songs year 2010, then I recorded my first track year 2011.
How many track have you recorded?
Humm, I can’t remember all my track, I’ve recorded alot of songs, since 2011 till now.
What’s the biggest show/concert you’ve performed and how was it like?
That should be Eko hotel, on same stage with many other celebrities, it was fun, I meet the likes of Akpororo, Dr sid, Ruggedman and many other. I also performed @ Naijablow 2nd year anniversary, I meet the likes of zinoleesky, mohbad and lilfrosh, it was fun all through.

Are You Signed to any Label?
No, am not signed by any label, am just pushing it myself.
How has it been pushing Yourself, What are your challenges?
Humm, it hasn’t be easy, My major challenge is finance, music demands alot of money, you pay to record, you pay promoters & bloggers and you go to some shows you still need to settle 1 or 2 before you are given the chance perform. It isn’t easy oh.
If not music, what other things are we gonna find you doing?
It is music but if not music, you will find me on my comedy skits, am a craxy funny guy, I do comedy skits also.
