???????? Bella And I Chapter Seven:
After much talk from I and other people which i employed, she forgave me and then we continued our relationship.
Then one day, her elder sister whom I was older than stopped med after church and was telling me that if I truly lover her sister I should wait until she was old enough.
I asked her “How many years?” she said “2 years” and then I said “That’s easy. I’m in her life to stay and I won’t back down”
I could tell Bella’s sister was surprised by my answer but I meant it and I still do.
2 YEARS LATER….
Church leaders began to notice how strongly bonded we were, they called us and warned us to be careful so that we won’t be tempted to do immoral stuffs, her mother told us she doesn’t like the relationship and that we should stop until we have gained fulfillment in life.
All sorts of advises were coming up and for a time I stopped and asked myself “I thought her sister said if I truly love her I should wait till after 2 years? What’s happening now?” It was then I realized Bella’s rule was different because I am the “guy” and the family detest that fact.
There was a sunday we closed from church and then I normally escort her and her younger ones home before going to my house, so she decided to sit down on a culvert in other to rest. We were there when I turned and saw her Elder brother and elder sister coming, they came and pushed her home and then the elder sister insulted me right on the road.
I wasn’t ashamed but it pained me that a girl I am older than could actually stand before me and blast me. I remained quiet because I thought of what might happen to Bella.
At that period, nothing was certain for us. Nobody supported us, nobody stood by us and with all of our strength, we kept on fighting together, we kept on loving each other with the strength of our bones. It was funny and weird but that was US.
I usually tell her that “All of what we are facing now shouldn’t be the reason why we should break down”
The people around us which includes her family members didn’t stop making life hard for us.
Then the ministry we used to attend together was supposed to hold a youth conference at Abuja and we were paid for to attend.
