When she got to my house, she was very surprised. I could see that all her attention were on the glitter find golds.

She quickly turned around and see if anyone was inside the room, but she didn’t see any.

Immediately, she was about running out from the kitchen. I quickly rushed out behind the door and held her to myself.

“Baby why would you do that? You almost made me run out of the kitchen leaving the water on fire”, she said admist heavy breathing.

I couldn’t reply her due to the laughter I was outpouring with full panache.

Suddenly, she stopped laughing and was staring at me. I also looked back into her eyes. I could see flame of fire burning down in her eyes.

The food was placed on the dining table and we both began to eat.

Juliet’s Pov

I was nail biting couple of days waiting for my Drake to return or even call me as usual, but he didn’t work out as I expected.

What could have happened to him or has he traveled out of town?

No my Drake can’t be so heartless to travel without even letting me know.

Just then, the door buzzer ring and Evelyn came in.

“Hi bestie, how are you doing today?”, she asked me with a grimace.

“Look Evelyn, you told me that Drake would be back soon, I have waited impatiently for more than five days now. I didn’t even hear about him or his calls on my phone”, I said to Evelyn angrily.

“Damn! You gonna take it easy please. Am surprised about Drake’s attitude towards you this days bae”, she said calming me down.

“I have never experienced this before. Drake has never acted like this. Imagine no calls or even text messages. I gotta wake up and make a move and know what is going on with my relationship”, I said bombastically.

“Yeah, it definitely what you should do, not sit down and look. This is the right time for you to know what is going on with your so called boyfriend”, Evelyn responded.

“I will be on my way back home. Take care of yourself please okay. I will always try and check on you”, she said shutting the door.

I couldn’t even feel free or happy at all. My heart was longing for Drake, my love.
