Juliet’s POV

It was Christmas and the rollicking pressure of the festive period was still drilling.

People were touring from friends and relatives house to another. Making merriment and enjoying themselves.

I went to a lot of my friends, relatives, and loved ones houses. Now it was the turn for me to also go and visit my one and only bestie’s house.

The day I fixed for the visit was on the 25th of December all known as Christmas day.

When I get to her house, I didn’t see her at home, she wasn’t in, but the door was open, and so I welcomed myself in and sat down, still expecting to see her.

I had waited for a longer time and still, there was no sight of her.

“Holiday? With her dad? She didn’t tell me anything related to that”, I responded with mixed feelings.

I was surprised seeing Juliet in my house, why not? Her friend wasn’t home to keep her company.

After telling her that her friend wasn’t around, she sat down and told me she will wait for her to return.

I had no alternative than to allow her stay. I decided to go into my room and continue with what I was doing.

After I was done with my task, I decided to go out and keep her company in the living room.

When I got there she was busy watching a movie on the television.

“Wow! I can see you are really enjoying yourself”, I said sitting down on the couch.

“Yeah. It was so boring and lonely. I had to keep myself busy with this just to deprive my sweet self of loneliness”, she uttered with a smirk.

I decided to hold on a discussion with her about the current atmosphere of the governmental power of the state and who she would want to be the next president.

The conversation went on very well, then she told me she was hungry and needed something to eat.

I went to the kitchen and made her some noodles.

I brought the food to the dinning room and called her to come over.

When she came in and sighted the food, she was very happy and excited and began eating the noodles.

“So Raymond, I never knew you were such a great cook”, she chipped in.

“Of course I do, you have seen for yourself”, I replied.

“That means my friend is so lucky to have you as a partner then”, she tittered.

“Please come join me and eat”, she said.

I didn’t wanna eat, but she compelled me to do so, and while eating the food, I noticed she was staring at me.

Infact I will say she was keeping an eye contact with me.

I noticed all she was doing, but I only pretended like I didn’t.

I was still eating the noodles when I felt a soft gentle touch on my shoulder, before I could lift up my face to see who it was, she kissed me.

I tried letting her off me, but I was overwhelmed by the sensation of her breathe traveling down my spine, and I couldn’t hamper the action, rather was playing along with her.

Just then the door creaked open and Evelyn walked in.

I tried to talk to her, but she was not listening to my apologies.

She immediately walked out of the house. I tried calling her back, but she refused to come back.

Juliet rushed after her and I was left behind.

Drake’s POV

After hearing that the affair of Juliet with my best friend was a plot set against her, not self willingness. I was definitely wondering on how to get her back.

She has been so good to me a lot. I really regreted my action towards her when she was raped.

I didn’t know what to do anymore, already Kiara was staying with me and she was happy being with me.

Telling her that I’m no more longer interested in her was so difficult for me.

I went to work the next day and was feeling so reluctant to attend to sick patients.
