When I was done eating, I again thanked her so much. She held my hand and say I should stop thanking her. She then got up, planted a kiss on my lips and left with the plate.
The next morning when I came back from the market, where I went to buy foodstuffs for the chef. I stumbled on miss Mary in the parlour, she came to pay us a visit.
With gladness in heart I ran to her and gave gave her a tight hug. After the exchange of pleasantries, she interviewed me of how the place was and they were treating me . I told her of everything that had happened and in return she gave me words of encouragement, assuring me that everything was working out for my favour.
Miss Mary also advised me to always play and get along with Evelyn, resolving any issues I have with at all point, even though she is at fault I should first apologize.when I request to know why my friendship with Mary mattered, she pinched my ear and said ” most you know everything?”.
Miss Mary was to spend a week with in the mansion with us. One faithful day while I was playing with Evelyn, her mom came from no where and dragged her by the ear, taking her to the room.
As soon as miss Mary noticed I was playing alone, she made a request for Evelyn’s whereabouts. When I told her of how her mom scolded her from me, miss Mary zoomed off to my boss’s wife’s room, her sister.
I quickly followed to ease drop and from the door I could hear miss Mary shouting at my boss’s wife like she was the person in charge.
“Don’t ever try to separate them because I let you go free doesn’t mean am mad or stupid. You can keep your son but let them be together…… Judith I am warning you oo”.
I was still ease dropping, when I heard a tender voice from behind.
“What are you doing?”
I quickly turned in shock and saw Evelyn looking at me like we were enemies. I felt shy and left to the balcony where we both playing a game together on her phone.
Getting to the balcony, I found Evelyn’s phone laying on the chair. I picked it up and continued the game we both were playing, while waiting for mary to come join me.
“Give me my phone ” Mary said as soon as she opened the door leading to the balcony.
I was really shock to the extent I looked at her with my mouth widely open, lost in thought if it wasn’t the same person that k!ssed me recently because I’ve done nothing wrong
“Don’t ever touch my property again in this life ” she said and left the balcony, leaving me shocked to my bones.
After a long time, I decided to go plead with her. On my way going to her room when I passed through the kitchen, I saw my boss’s wife putting some substance into a plate among other plates of food.
I quietly stood at a spotless point, Watching her adding the substance . When she was done putting the substance, I quickly turned to leave only to see Henry watching me from the stairs. Immediately he left with out altering a word.
