Emilia took the young girls as hers since she was yet to give birth to her own children.They always kept her company when ever she was home and had no work.
Doctor Christian was off duty that very day, he was at home with just Angel and Amina. They were all seeing a movie in the living room. He asked Angel to go get him water to drink. Angel stood up and ran towards the kitchen, she brought him a glass of water.
When she turned back to go sit down, Doctor Christian saw a little dark circle at the back on Angel. Who was wearing a sleeveless top. He has exactly that birthmark at almost the same spot. Just his own was lower and hers was higher.
Doctor Christian started to draw the dots.
First his rare blood group matched with that of Angel. Now the birthmark on his back , Angel has the same, only difference was just the location.

He fondly calls her Mma m (My beauty). They both were love birds during their secondary school . Chidimma’s parents has always warned her to stay away from Christian.
Both family never saw eye to eye. Christian was from a wealthy family while Chidimma’s family were just average. Chidimma was always stubborn, she even threatened her family to elope with Christian.
Immediately after their WAEC. Chidimma got pregnant for Christian who wasn’t expecting it. He wasn’t ready to be a father. But due to the love he had for Chidimma he summoned courage and told his parents about the pregnancy. Hoping they will help and take care of her and the coming baby.
His parents rebuked him and told him he will never marry that girl into their family. They had bigger dreams for him and can’t let it waste on Chidimma. The gave him money to give Chidimma to abort the pregnancy.
That very day, he had called Chidimma and told her what his parents said. He stretched out his hands to give Chidimma the money but she knocked the money off his hand and gave him a slap on his cheeks.
He was so sorry for Chidimma, even with all the love he had for her, he was still young and wasn’t ready to shoulder the responsibility of being a father. Chidimma left him on and scene as she cried and ran home.
He never knew his parents had already been planning his travel to Australia to go continue his education over there . He was to leave after two days.
All through the little time he had, he kept trying her number to inform her. But it seemed like she blacklisted his number. His parents never allowed him to leave the house. The last time he spoke to Chidimma, her parents were not yet aware that she was pregnant.
He left for Australia with tears in his eyes , he has broken the heart of the love of his life. It wasn’t his intention but his hands were tied. Doctor Christian could feel tears dropping from his eyes.
After his studies abroad, his parents didn’t want him to come back. So he started work over there and got enough to establish himself here in Nigeria.
When he came back to Nigeria, he had gone to look for Chidimma just to apologize for what he had done but no one ever knew who bore that name around where they lived about fifteen (15) years ago.
It was really a long time and he didn’t know where to start from to start looking. After few months he gave up the search decided to settle down.
What if his action was what made his wife in able to conceive?
What if his wife found out what he did?
Will she accept Angel as a step daughter?
What if it was just all a coincidence and Angel wasn’t his daughter afterall ?
He began wiping his tears .
Besides, Angel lost her memory and there was no way he would ask her about her mother. He will enjoy the moment with her because she was not going anywhere just yet till she can say who actually she is.

Doctor Christian made sure his eyes were perfectly clean and then he went back to the parlor and kept starring at Angel.
