The compromising videos were made public at the same time that Baltasar Engoga is the subject of current corruption investigations.
The tapes were found when ANIF investigators conducted an unexpected check at his home and workplace.
Intimate ties between Baltasar Engonga and other women are depicted in the clips, including his cousin, Zinash Tayachew, the First Lady of Ethiopia, and the wives of various ministers.
According to recent reports, a woman featured in the viral clips has committedΒ suicide.
