I had to do something fast before I get beaten up. I secretly took out the pen in my pocket. And as they made their way towards me one of mark boys held dragged me up holding my clothes. I used to pen stabbing it hard in his hands.
He screamed in pain as he immediately left me. I stretched out the pen in case anyone came close to me. “You’ve grown wings ola. Well it’s me and you in this school. I will be watching you.” Mark uttered as he and his boys left.
I was relived and at the same time afraid. I really have to be careful now as I have really dared mark.
On my way home I couldn’t stop thinking about what happened in school that morning. I was still restless thinking mark could ambush any moment. Well it didn’t happen and I was greatful.
I got home and luckily there was light. I did all I had to do and relaxed on the sofa. Then I remembered Stella. I went to my WhatsApp and texted her. She wasn’t online but I was sure she would reply when she sees it.
I looked at the time the evening was still early. It was just 4:30. I decided to take a stroll. I dressed in a casual outfit and took my earpods and I connected it with my phone to listen to music.
I strolled enjoying every melody in the music I was listening to. Then I saw someone and my heart leaped.
