Hailey slams her doors in frustration and all the maids trembled at her furious glares.

MCCALL’S MANSION ~ 7:30pm.

Everyone sat around the rectangular dinning table with varieties of dishes on it.
Hope’s eyes couldn’t leave the sight of the dishes as the maids dished her food out.
“Well… we never got to knew your name” Mrs Aurora said. She couldn’t resist smiling at her.
“Oh” she glanced at Lucian who sat next to her.
“I’m Hope Michealson” she introduced firmly.

“Why don’t we leave that for another day and focus on the dinner” Lucian interfered and Hope glances at him. She’s blushing the life out of her.
“Okay then, but Jane already told me everything about her.” And their eyes fixed at Jane.
“About how you two accidentally ran into each other. How you reacted and honestly you were a monster for hurting a goddess” and Hope laughed out instead.
“Yeah he was” Hope muttered and Lucian looked seductively at her.
“Argh!” Jane groaned. “Not now please” she laughed and Lucian looked at her while Hope and Mrs Aurora laughed.
It’s really a fun dinner for them.
“You two looks so fragile in love and I can feel the ties of passion among you two” Mrs Aurora said to them both and just then Lucian reached to her hands and held tight to it.
“Just a few days and you two are almost perfect” She added and all eyes glared at her.
“I meant… you two are perfectly perfect” she corrected and they all laughed softly.
Even the maids standing around had to smile to this – they were all excited and it wouldn’t have been like that if Hope hadn’t showed up.
“Do you stay with your parents or guidance?” Mrs Aurora asked immediately the laughter died down.
“I stay with me parent… my dad actually” she replied.
“What about your mom?” And then She frowns. Lucian felt the eagerness to know why she frowned.
“Hope?” Mrs Aurora said softly. “Did I say something bad?” She’s starting to feel guilt for her questions.
“No,ma. It’s just that I become all sad when someone asks about my mom” she said sadly.
“I’m sorry if I made you sad” she apologized and Hope sniffed.
“It’s okay ma” she replied,her lips gradually curving into a smile.
“It’s okay if you don’t want to talk about it,okay?”Lucian muttered to her am she nodded stiffly.
They all watched her trying her best using a chop stick to eat. Once she took up a sushi;as Chinese food, and next her hands shaking as she slowly move the sushi towards her mouth.
It fell out and Lucian caught it quickly in the air – her eyes stared deep into his as he helped in feeding her. He chuckled softly after he fed her.
