Tasha laughed hysterically again but this made Remita frightened.
Red watched from behind wondering why Tasha was laughing very loud.
But suddenly Tasha’s face became gloomy and combined with a sad face.

Red went out of the classroom since he couldn’t talk to Remita.

Remita wanted to stand up and run away but tasha suddenly grabbed Remita’s hand. Tasha stared directly into Remita’s eyes.

“He is gonna be yours soon, but before he can be yours you will suffer. And there is no matter what you can do He owns you. Many people will tryto intimidate you, hurt you, try to make you cry, try to make you give up, but you must never ever give up. You are destined for greater things in the future. Even your own blood sister will become your own enemy, she will turn against you all because of him but you must never fight her. And lastly you are gonna talk soon.” Tasha said and returned back to her senses.

Tasha panted heavily.

~What?? My sister will turn against me? All because of what? All because of him. Who is the him?~ Remita thought inwardly.

Remita nodded negatively.

~no way, i am not gonna believe this crazy looking girl’s words. She is crazy~ Remita thought inwardly.

Remita suddenly wished she could talk and ask tasha so many questions. But she couldn’t.
But as tasha, She was reading her mind.

Tasha stared directly into Remita’s eyes again and she saw so many things.

“Believe me or not, Your sister would turn against you. And you would be able to talk again” Tasha repeated and returned back to her senses.

The atmosphere became so hot for Remita that she finds it so hard to breathe because of what Tasha told her. She began thinking of so many things.

Then the school electronic bell went on.

All students came back to the class.
They all sat down at their respective seats.
Then another teacher came in. He taught them for about 3hours.

Naomi wasn’t listening to the teacher. She was busy doing other stuffs like taking pictures. Sophie was busy scrolling through Instagram.
Genesis focused.

At exactly 3:00pm, The teacher went out of the class.
it was closing hours.

Remita packed her books into her backpack with her laptop.
She went out of the class before any students.
Sophie smirked.
Genesis followed Remita behind..

“Bye, Remember to chat me tonight. Bye, bye” Genesis said and left with her driver.
Remita waved back. She was still thinking about what tasha said.Then naomi approached Remita.

“I am going out with patricia, do you wanna follow?” Naomi asked.

~No, you can go. i am gonna look for a job today~ Remita wrote.

“Whatever, suit yourself” Naomi Said and left with patricia.

Tasha came too then she bid Remita goodbye.

Remita waved back.

Remita walked on the lonely street filled with pot holes and dirty water. She began pondering on what Tasha told her in class.

“She is gonna turn against you all because of him”
She remembered Tasha’s words.

Remita nodded not agreeing to Tasha’s words.

Suddenly,a car passed by and splash dirty water on her face and on her school uniform.

Remita had hiccups immediately. She used her handkerchief to clean her face and wiped the dirts off her cloth.

Then the car stopped and Sophie came out of the car.
She cat walked Towards Remita.

“That water tastes good right?” Sophie said and laughed.. She mocked Remita.
This scared Remita that her leg began shaking.

“Yeah! Because that’s what you poor people drink in the slums. I am warning you Remita, Never use your poor, beautiful,shabby face to seduce Red because he is my boyfriend and he belongs to me alone. He is mine…You stinking girl with poverty. You stink with poverty, motherfucker” Sophie said and attempted to leave but she stopped and turned to Remita.

“Cat got your tongue? Can’t you talk? oh sorry. Do i have an amnesia? I have forgotten you are dumb, you can’t talk…sorry bitch” Sophie said and glanced at the pot holes filled with dirty water behind Remita. She smiled Wickedly and pushed Remita into the dirty water.

Remita’s school uniform was drenched with the dirty water. Her hands became dirty.

“Un! that’s where you belong. In the trash filled with stinking water. Rotten girl with poverty” Sophie said finally and left.

Remita became weak. Her clothes were very dirty.
She tried standing up but kept falling back into the dirty water.

Finally, she was able to stand up. Remita felt very embarrassed that she used her hoodie to cover her face.

She ran home filled with dirty water.

She opened the door to the house. She ran straight to her room and directly to her bathroom.
Her body began itching her. As beautiful as her skin is, It is very delicate.

She removed her ID card and her school uniform.She ran under the shower and began bathing. Remita felt like crying.
This is too much for her to bear.

The clean water from the shower washed off the dirts on her skin.
She washed her face and her hair. She scrubbed her skin gently.

After 5mins, she came out of the washroom.

She wrapped her towel around her body. she entered her room and opened the wardrobe and found a blue trousers with a white shirt.
She dressed up and combed her wet hair. She didn’t bother packing it because it was wet. She didn’t know how to use the hand dryer in her room.

She carried a small white cross bag and stuffed her phone in it. She carried it and went out of the house. She locked the door.

I don’t know why i have to go through this…I feel not okay but i have to look for a job because of grandma. I wanna try and pay our bills too.

Sophie is really a cruel human. I did not do anything to her but she decided to hurt me. Thank Goodness nothing happened to my skin assuming I did not wash the dirty water off, germs would have get in it.

I don’t know why everyone is really cold towards me I am not a bad person.
I never stole their stuffs and it is not really my fault I am dumb. i didn’t make myself dumb.

I jolted out of my thought immediately i saw a vacancy for a cleaner.
The supermarket really looks good.

I tried my luck.I entered the supermarket and i met a woman.

I bowed.

“Hola!(Hello in Spanish)” The woman said.
I don’t really understand her but I think she is speaking Spanish.

~Lo siento,I can’t speak Spanish(I am sorry, i can’t speak spanish ~ I wrote and showed it to the woman.

I only understand some basic words in Spanish. it kind of confuse me.

She read it.

“Oh, I am sorry..what do you want??” The woman in english.

~ I am sorry, i saw a vacancy for a cleaner outside your store and I wish to apply for it.. I hope you will hire me~ i wrote.

“I am sorry but I can’t hire a dumb person in my supermarket” The woman said.

Those words really hurt me deep..oh goodness, is it really my fault that i am can’t talk.
“I am sorry, you can go now” The woman said.

I left the supermarket and glanced at the name of the supermarket.

i walked away from the store.

Another car packed beside me. My heart almost jump out of my chest. I thought it was sophie again.
I quickly walk away but the car kept following me.

Then I waited courageously. Then Red’s Sister, leonie came out of the car.

She dragged me to the car. i entered.

“Hi”leonie said and smiled.
I smiled Back.

“Why are you walking in the sun alone? you should have called me??” Leonie said happily as she stared at my hair.

I know my hair is long but she does not have to stare at it..it is making me comfortable.

i sighed.

~I am looking for a job ~ I wrote and she read it.

“Oh!you are looking for a job. i can get you one..i can hire you as my nanny and trust me you will get a good pay from my brother, Red” Leonie said happily.

I nodded negatively.

~no, i can’t work as your nanny I am sorry~ I wrote and she read it.

“But why?” Leonie said Sadly.

I can’t possibly tell her the reason why.

The reason is because I don’t want her brother to see me or talk to me and also because of sophie. She told me to stay away from her boyfriend..
I don’t want any trouble at all.

“Trouble?? who is causing trouble?? I promise there won’t be any trouble if you work as my nanny” Leonie said.

I nodded not agreeing.

Red said that do I have a poop on my face. What more would he say to me if i work under him.

~i am sorry but it can’t work, I’d rather stay on my lane than be your nanny~ I said and left the car.

I ran as fast I could so she won’t chase me.

I know I hurt her with my last statement.But i am really sorry.
