???? My Daughter My Wife Episode Twenty Five: ????
???? ANDYโS POV ????
I canโt remember everything that happened before I recognized Sola, but that night in my office, I was kissing Sola like my life depended on it.
Sparks of flames flew all around my body, and my chest contracted helplessly as my tongue continued to wade through the nooks and crannies of her mouth.
The first time I kissed her in Chicago was wonderful, but what I experienced that night was nothing short of a heavenly bliss.
Not only was I kissing Sola without the guilt a married man feels being with a woman that isn’t his wife, she wasn’t holding back like she did in Chicago.
Yes! Sola was kissing me right back, and her hands refused to stay away from my body. Her two hands were roaming all around my neck and face.
She was moร ning as she kissed me right back, making me want to go beyond the kiss. I wanted to explore, to see what lay below the beautiful dress she was wearing, and to know if the sacred sisters she kept pressing against my chest, felt as soft as it looked in my hands.
“I love you Sola” I told her when I finally let go of her lips. She didn’t say a word, but I could see that it was safe to proceed to asking her to be my girlfriend.
My head was pounding terribly because of the amount of alcohรฒl I had taken, but I was dying from the pleasure from the kiss, and the fact that I had her kissing me with her all.
โDonโt be silly Andy. I want nothing but to be your girlfriend and more. But Iโd love to have you ask me when youโre more sober.
โI donโt want to say yes now, only for you to wake up tomorrow and tell me it was the drink asking me to be your lover, and all that crร pโ she told me, smiling enchantingly at me.
I laughed uneasily, regretting why I had to drink so much on one of the most important nights of my life. I was holding her firmly to myself, to ensure she didnโt run away. And even if it was a dream, I wanted to hold her close enough to ensure I woke up with her still perfectly secured in my arms.
Sola reminded me it was time to go, some thirty minutes later, so dropped her off in her house before I drove home that night, and it was only after I got home that I realized that Chuks my friend may be hurting from what happened that day
Sola had told me what transpired between them, and I couldnโt help but feel so bad for my friend because I know Chuks has always been one who didn’t like rejection, the reason he said the couldn’t work with the marketing team.
I imagined how I would have felt if Sola truly loved someone else, when I love her the much I do, and I felt like crying for him.
โMy friend must really be in a hell of pains right now. Oh God, why did he have to love the same woman I love?โ I imagined as I pulled out my phone to call him.
โHey man, look Iโm sorry things went the way it did. I thought I could forget her and let you guys go on, but I never anticipated her feelings for me to be this wayโ I said, trying to find the best way to speak to my hurt friend as soon as he picked up his call.
โItโs okay Andy. I donโt have a problem with her being with you, as long as you both are happy. You two are my friends and it won’t do to have her by my sides when she thinks about nobody but you. She actually did the best thing, telling me straight up that she wants you,to and you alone.
โBut the problem is, I do not know how I had to be this unfortunate. I had your wife dangling all her goodies over me, but I had to fight the temptation to get a taste of her, because I knew she belonged to you.
โAnd now, the one I felt could be mine, is also reserved for you? Do I have to blame myself again for not knowing that once two people share a kiss but couldn’t go further because of certain extraneous factors, that the chances of desiring to go deeper than a kiss will always be there?
โBut tell me Andy, do I look so bad that I couldnโt even stand a chance? She didnโt even get bothered by the fact that you told me to go ahead with her!
โIโm supposed to just say hey, itโs one of those things and move on, but Andy, Iโm hลซrt. And I still wish I can wake up tomorrow and find out this is all a dream, a bad one!
โLike Iโm so freaking hurt now I do not know how Iโll face tomorrowโ he told me, making my heart break in a thousand places.
โI understand Chuks. Like hell, I do. But youโve got to calm down. Something good will surely come out of all of thisโ I told him, trying to sound as convincing as I could, because even I, was hurt on his behalf and couldnโt truly see how things would get better for him in the circumstance.
Sola wanted me to ask her properly to be my girlfriend, and I loved it more than anything else that I could come up with a very romantic way to ask her.
She gave a big yes, and even though we knew we were inseparable from the day we kissed in my office, our relationship started officially that day, and Sola who had always looked so serious and unapproachable, turned out to be the crร ziest liver of all times.
I could be trying to tell her about something serious, and she’d be posing for a photograph, asking me to shoรฒt away.
A few days after Sola and I officially started dating, I brought her to see my mum, and just had to hold my heart from exploding with excitement as I saw how easily my mother and Sola bonded so well.
Their relationship was so cool that I always had to leave them both whenever I needed to hangout with Chuks who had become so withdrawn that I could hardly recognize him.
I could be talking with him, and a buzz on my phone would make him wear a sudden gloomy look, because like he always guessed, it would be Sola messaging to tell me how much she loved me and how she misses me.
Our friendship was beginning to have a strain because I couldnโt tell Chuks about my joy, being with Sola, and on her part, Sola wasnโt hanging out with us again.
I was in a dilemma because I didnโt want to have to stay away from my friend totally, but being with him was making me have to spend lesser times with Sola, and I didn’t like it one bit. It was as if I got my mother a friend ,bad not myself, a girlfriend.
Luckily, this dilemma was not to last for so long because about a week after Sola and I started seeing each other, the collaboration with the organization that made me travel to Chicago made our organization send Sola and I, and the others in the team that went to Chicago before, to Chicago to start a new branch.
Chuks had a conflict of emotions as he escorted Sola and I to the airport on the day we departed, and though Sola was doing her best not to be the reason Chuks and I got separated, I could see that things may never be the same with Chuks and I again.
We said our goodbyes and Sola even gave Chuks a half hug before we boarded. My mother was lamenting about having to stay without Sola’s company, and she promised to always be in touch with her.
