“Take that jersey off right now, little fox, or I’ll fuΓ§king rip it off you”
Gasps cracked again.
Levi’s image joined Emory’s on the LED screen, and the way his eyes are peering at her right now is so scary that it’d make the frail fall on her knees.
Rebekah shifted back, and Emory’s deviant eyes met with his own, but no matter the obstinacy, his darkness swallowed it whole, and she found herself blinking.
Everyone waited in suspense for what she’s gonna do, and Levi’s eyes never left her.
He was about to stretch his hand to the jersey on her body when she suddenly raised it up, peeling it away from herself.
The eager eyes of the males present waited to witness her bra, but they were disappointed cos her blouse is still on.
Actually, she didn’t take it off earlier. She just wore the jersey on top of the blouse.
Left in the blouse, she pushed past Levi, and chatters started again as she started walking down the field with the jersey.
β’ What’s she gonna do?
β’ Is she gonna kiss Omar again?
β’ Walk faster, girl! I can’t wait anymore!
She left everyone in suspense again as she took fast steps to Omar who’s still standing in the middle of the field with that shit-eating grin on his face.
Levi’s eyes followed her all the way.
Emory finally got to Omar, and the sound of a hit is the last thing he heard before he staggered.
The hit landed on his face though, Emory punched him!
β’ Geez!
β’ That’s crazy!
β’ I’m glad I came to this game tonight!
Omar’s nose bled blood, and he didn’t bother to wipe the blood as he looked up at her, smirking.
“You punched me?”
Emory proceeded to throwing the jersey at his face, and he almost fell as it blinded him.
“I thought you were worth rooting for. I’ll never make such mistake anymore. Kissing you meant nothing, so whatever you’re thinking in that head of yours, fuΓ§king drop it” she said, and he scoffed.
Emory gave him the middle finger and turned around.
She started walking out of the stadium, and this time, students made way for her like a star.
She walked past Levi on the bleachers without sparing him a glance, but he immediately pulled her back by the elbow.
“Let go of me! I only took off the jersey because it’s the right thing to do, not because you told me to do it” she broke free from him and continued her walk stubbornly.
Levi pulled her back again, and before she could break free, he swept her off her feet, throwing her over his shoulder.
β’ Whoa!!!
β’ Gosh! This is so fun to watch!
“Put me down motherfΓ»cker!” Emory threw her legs up, her hair doing a swing show below her head.
“Not so quick” Levi replied, walking out of the stadium.
“Levi stop! Levi!!” She was shouting, her voice barely coming out.
Rebekah smiled, and Nina rested her head on her shoulder.
“I guess we’ll be witnessing scenes like this every single day, and I’m not ready” she pouted.
“Sowwy” Rebekah stroked her hair.
“But Emz is stubborn” Rain said.
“You’ve not seen anything” Lizzy laughed.
Isaac suddenly got a text, and he fished his phone to check…
Gay Club: There’s an opening tonight, be here in twenty minutes.
“I have to go now” he told Rain.
“Where?” Rain faced him.
“Home, see you tomorrow” he smiled, rushing out of the stadium.
Omar is still on the field, looking like his legs got cut as all attention zoned in on him.
He turned back and saw Conrad behind.
Conrad didn’t wait before punching him too, and Omar fell this time with a bleeding jaw
His face is a map of all unfortunate bruises already.
Conrad was about to kick him too when Hyce arrived with the coach.
“Dude, control!” Hyce pulled him back.
“This wanker purposely did that shit! I’mma slice his dick and shove it up his @ss!” Conrad argued
“Do the calms, Conrad” the coach said.
“Leave it to Banks” Hyce told Conrad, and he flexed his neck, looking at Omar hatefully.
Omar stood and left the stadium.
“Two players gone, shall we reshuffle?” The coach jammed his hands together.
“You can reshuffle for Omar. Banks is coming back we only have to wait” Conrad replied.

“Put me down, Levi! Can’t you hear me? I hate your ways ok? Levi!”
Emory’s tantrums were still coming as Levi took her to the school park.
He didn’t stop till he got to the old garage and entered.
It’s so fuΓ§king dark in there, no single bulb.
He put her down, and she gasped as he pulled down the garage gate, shutting it on them.
“What are you doing? It’s dark in here I can’t see anything! I’m not like you!” She shouted.
No sound came from him, and that scared her.
Did he lock her in here???
She checked her pocket for her phone but it’s not there
FΓ»ck!
Must be with Rebekah
“Levi?” She called carefully, stretching her arms forward to trace the way in the dark.
“Levi? Tell me you didn’t leave me in this damn place, Levi!” She called out again.
Still no reply.
She got more scared this time, and her voice began shaking, the stench of dried paint and dust penetrating into her nose from the cracked walls.
It’s not only dark in here, but the darkness is choky, and it’s affecting her throat.
“Lev… Levi” she stuttered.
That same moment, a lizard crossed over her leg, and her eyes widened horrifically in the dark as she leapt forward with a scream.
“Levi!!”
She staggered on something hard and solid, and the smell of mint and cinnamon made her hold tight.
The muscles and biceps she held gave her the confirmation she needs, it’s him.
She fell on Levi’s chest.
“You were here but kept quiet? Did you enjoy seeing me scared?” She said, making sure her hands are holding him well so he won’t slip off.
“Yeah, you were being stubborn, doesn’t work well with me” his velvety voice came, and she hit his chest in the dark.
She’s not even seeing his face, but she’s sure he’s seeing hers since he’s used to darkness anyways.
“How could you tell me to pull off the jersey in front of everyone? What if I wasn’t wearing that blouse underneath?” She said, her nose taking in much of him.
“I saw the blouse beneath the jersey before I told you to take it off. I’m not fuΓ§king daft like a particular someone” he replied tactfully, his voice burning the skin on her neck.
“Are you calling me daft? If you didn’t send hitmen to beat him after the kiss, I wouldn’t feel guilty to the point of wearing his jersey to cheer him” she said, and he grabbed her with suddenness, making her gasp.
Her back met with the garage wall, and she gulped.
“You still don’t trust me?” He whispered.
“Give me a reason to trust you, tell me why you’re protecting me at least” she replied, and he immediately pulled down the neckline of her blouse, burying his face in her neck to kiss her collarbones.
“Levi…” She grabbed his arms like she did in the morning.
He darted his tongue out to lick her skin, and she held her breath when he dived his hand into her hair, pushing up her face with that.
He licked her neck down, then he planted wet saturated kisses down her shoulders.
Emory closed her eyes, feeling a slight click in the pit of her stomach.
Drip
Drip
Something dripped in her core, and the sound of his tongue licks got wild when she let out a raspy moan.
The minty smell of his hair wash soaked her up.
“Levi… Levi… Lev…
He stopped his tongue ministrations this time, and his face came up.
“I want out… please” she said softly.
He released a harsh breath, and she bit her lip inwardly.
Before she knew it, he already lifted her into his arms.
She didn’t argue, she only wrapped her arms on his shoulder as he started walking to the door that she’s not even seeing.
His eyes must be an halogen bulb or something.
He pushed the door up with his leg, and the moment they stepped out, her eyes caught his own.
They’re softer now, and more approachable.
“Who’re you?” She muttered.
“Your shadow” he replied.
She wasn’t chanced to talk again till he got back to the stadium where he dropped her.
There are some threads of cobwebs in her hair from the garage, and he got rid of them with his fingers.
“Be good, if I hear anyone touched you, I’ll break his fuΓ§king skull” he said, smiling cruelly before leaving.
“I’m not yours” Emory muttered as she watched him go down the field.
She went back to her friends, and their eyes widened again.
“Your neck!” Lizzy said.
Rebekah returned her phone, and she opened camera to look at her neck.
It’s full of hickeys and marks from Levi’s wild lick and kisses at the garage, and a red hue appeared on her cheeks immediately.
“Are you blushing?” Nina nudged her.
“My foot” Emory rolled eyes, and the girls laughed out.
Levi knowingly did this obviously…that crazy arsehole.
“Bekah” Emory suddenly called.
“Huh?” Rebekah faced her.
“Did Levi send the hitmen to Omar?” She asked.
“What! No! Banks will never send anyone to do his job. He’s a hitman himself and if it was him who beat Omar, Omar would die after few punches. It’s not Banks, trust me” Rebekah quickly replied.
Emory nodded, returning her gaze to the field
The game is starting, and her eyes fell on Levi who’s currently wearing his helmet.
He looks hotly attractive, and it’s annoying cos even Rebekah has no idea why he’s doing all these.
Who the hell are you, Levi?
Maybe she should meet his uncle Reginald.

2 HOURS LATER, NINA’S PLACE*
Nina is the only one without a car among the girls, so they either take turns to come pick her up at home or she rides Uber.
She went out with Uber to the game, and she also came back with it just now.
The cab dropped her in front of the mansion.
“Madam and boss are back” the doorman told her, and she instantly knew she’s in trouble.
They arrived before her?
She went in anyways, and she was surprised to see the lights off.
Maybe they’re already asleep, her luck.
Immediately she got to the middle of the living room, the luck turned to a bad one cos the lights came on, revealing Mr. and Mrs. Young in the living room.
“Where are you coming from, Nina?” The wife stood, looking so angry.
“I… went to the games with my friends” Nina replied.
“Games? What about the car I left in the garage for you?” The woman came closer
“I planned to wash it tomorrow morning before going to campus” Nina shifted back.
“Take one more step back, and you’ll leave this house tonight!” The woman yelled
Nina stopped moving, and a slap greeted her face.
She held her boiling face, looking at the woman with glassy eyes.
“Go back outside right now and start washing the car. You’re not going to bed till you’re done!” She ordered.
“Yes mum” Nina sniffled, rushing back outside.
She squatted beside the Jeep and let out her tears, but she quickly wiped them.
Tears only means weakness, and she’s not weak.
“Here” the doorman came with a bowl of water, brush and detergent.
“Thanks” she smiled, taking the tools to start work.
