???? The Hunter Season One Episode Nine:
SEASON 1:
Since my younger brother and I now lived with my paternal grandparents, my grandmother taught me how to make delicious meals. My cooking skill was tested and the Pastor’s wife was satisfied, she made me resume the following week.
While resuming, I went along with a poisonous substance that I bought from the dibia in my grandparent’s village with the claim that my grandmother wanted to kill a stubborn rat with it. The dibia who knew my grandmother so well gave me the poison. As I cook for the Olusola each day, I find it hard to poison their food. Even though Pastor Olusola hurt my family greatly, I just didn’t find the courage to poison their food instead, I work for them with diligence. Pastor Mrs. Olusola fell in love with me because of my diligence and neatness, she treated me like a daughter, unlike her children who felt I came from the gutter.
Pastor Olusola was a very wealthy man who had over 50 branches all over the world and each branch had over 1000 members. He was known for his philanthropic nature as he was always putting smiles on the faces of the needy by pulling them out of poverty by setting them up in business. The main reason people flood his churches was majorly because of his philanthropic nature. After service every Sunday, foodstuffs were given to each member.
One year down the line, I was done preparing dinner as instructed by Pastor Olusola’s eldest son. That evening, Pastor and his wife traveled to Akure for a revival while his daughter went to pass the evening in her friend’s house so I was home alone with his eldest son, Sean. After cooking, Susan asked that I served the food and bring it to his room as he was busy working on the system. I did as he instructed because I had no reason to doubt him, even if he sees me as someone from the slums, he has never made any pass at me before.
I dropped the food on his bed and made to leave his room when he stopped me, he walked up to me and began to tell me how beautiful I was. At that point, I began to sense danger but I couldn’t do anything as the door had been locked by him, I planned to play along with him by claiming to love him back to leave the room without being hurt.
Before I could even get what Susan was talking about, he pushed me to the bed and pounced on me. Sensing what he was about to do, I began to plead with him but he wasn’t listening to me. In a twinkle of an eye, My clothes and undies got torn by Sesan, and my hymen got broken. The pain in my heart was more than the pain in between my thighs the moment Susan asked me to get out of his room. I was heartbroken and felt used, I came to avenge the death of my loved ones but I was ravaged by the beast called Sesan.
As I limped to my room, I swore to make Sesan pay for what he did to me. When I was thinking of letting go of my revenge mission, Susan got me enraged. Right where I sat in my room, I remembered how my family was destroyed, I remembered how my mom died, how my dad died of depression, and how my elder brother lost his life in the process of fighting for my parent’s death.
Very early the following morning, I packed my belongings and left the Olusola residence, I went away not because I was no longer interested in my revenge mission, I went away to prepare and re-strategize.
Two months later, I discovered I was pregnant, I was on the verge of aborting the baby when my grandmother got to know about the pregnancy. I told her all that happened and she made me keep the baby, I gave birth to a baby girl who I left with my grandmother. After the birth of Jane, my daughter, I made friends with another young pregnant girl in the hospital who goes by the name Kelly. She asked how I got pregnant and after narrating my ordeal to her, she made me realize that one can not go on a revenge mission without being well-equipped.
One month after the birth of my baby, she took to me to a place where I was equipped. Then, I went back to the Olusola’s residence ready to fight and get my revenge.
