Linda was very tired when she got home that she had to ignore everyone who was still around and went directly to sleep.She had never been sad and also tired like this before
Her husband was in a very critical condition and had been hospitalized at the ICU.The doctors reports were also clear that James may survive but the chances were very minimal
As she lay on the matrimonial bed that night alone,she felt relaxed,she felt as if nothing wrong had happened at all.Yes the medicine that was to lure her into following Elsa to Kilunda’s place was working
She started dreaming of Kilunda,in the dream he and her were married and had a happy family.She could hear some weird sounds of Elsa in the dream shouting
“Come let us go to daddy,it is getting late” Elsa shouted.She kept shouting that Linda jumped from the bed throwing the blankets she had covered herself with
Elsa was standing besides her trying to wake her up so that they could leave before the sun rises.Linda unplugged her phone from the charger and switched it on to check the time
It was three am yet Elsa wanted them to leave.She felt sleepy that she yawned opening her mouth wide open while closing her eyes
She wanted to go back to sleep but something kept pulling her that she had no option but to obey what her daughter was saying
“Mum hurry up,dad needs us right now.Grab your bag and belongings we are leaving now” Elsa said banging the bedroom door behind her and rushed into her bedroom
Her room was empty since she had packed everything that was hers.She went and sat on the bed while staring at the portrait that was on the table.It was a portrait of her while she was still a baby.James was carrying her while Linda was next to him.They were all a happy family then
Elsa stared at the picture feeling very emotional,It was the only memory of her being a baby so she took the picture and carefully placed it inside the suitcase that was fully packed
Linda sat for sometimes before she rushed to the bathroom to have a shower.By the time she was getting out of the bathroom she felt fresh and was ready to go
She had already packed her belongings so she carried them downstairs,where she found Elsa waiting for her
She had already prepared breakfast and was busy sipping the coffee while waiting for her mother who came and joined her
When Elsa was done she rushed back to the mother’s bedroom and removed the medicine that she had placed under the bed and placed it in her small handbag then walked downstairs closing the bedroom door carefully
Linda was done by then,therefore they took their belongings and walked out of the house.
Elsa had hired a taxi that was meant to transport them to their destination.The car was outside the compound waiting for them
The driver opened the boot and told them to place their belongings inside the boot and get into the car so that they could leave immediately.They got into the car and the car left the compound just like that.Linda and her daughter had left leaving James in a very critical condition.
