???????? The Wedding Party Chapter One:
Sandra was happy and nervous at the same time because she was going to tie the knot with the one her heart chose despite the tribulations they went through…..
Her family members hated Femi, her soon to be husband..and it all started when Femi was wrongly accused of murder….
Femi was a very gentle guy whose voice was as mild and soft as that of a baby with a tiny voice..he always feels guilty whenever he killed an animal like cockroach or mosquito….
One Saturday evening in his hostel room, he heard a gun shot from outside the school environment..
He was puzzled as fear gripped him from where he was busy reading his book against his project defense….
Femi opened his door to peep and know what had happened, it turned out to be that one of Aye (cultist) member had shot a student who refused to join them and threatened to report them to the police….
It was a total shock to Femi.
The cultist ran to Femi’s door post and forced the gun in his hand…he became more scared and confused..
And before he could say a word or realize himself, those chasing the cultist held Femi and handed him over to the police….
AT THE POLICE STATION
“Young man, what is your name?” An inspector general asked him angrily..
“My name is Femi sir”. He answered with a shaky voice and innocent face.
“What was the business between you and the boy you killed?” He asked again..
“Sir I swear with my mother’s grave, I am innocent please.. I cannot kill ant sef please”. He started crying.
“Young man, do you realize you’re in a police custody? And you want to play smart? I will deal with you mercilessly if you do not speak up now!” Now very angry..
“God bear me witness sir.. I was just in my room when I heard a gun shot.. and when I came out, I found out someone killed someone…I was still standing a my doorpost when the murderer forced the gun into my hand…I couldn’t do a thing because I was so confused and shocked at what I saw please”.
