???? The Woman Who Married A River Prince Episode TWO:
I became worried. I thought of what I should do. This is not the first time I’m having a strange dream about Frank. And the worst part of it is that, I have never been to Frank house before. He only told me that he owns a mansion and showed me pictures of himself in his house but I’ve never seen it with my eyes or been there before. We agreed that we will not meet in his house to avoid premarital s3x. We wanted to keep ourselves till our wedding night.
Although we usually kรฎss, hug and play romantically everytime we see or go on a date. Frank loves me so much; he cares about me and had in so many occasions, proven his love for me. He doesn’t like to see me sad; he apologizes to me when he’s wrong and even when I’m wrong. And I love him so much for this. I love him for who he is and what he makes me feel. I can’t bring myself to figure out anything I could hold on to, and hate Frank so as to call off this wedding. Frank is just the perfect man for me. I thought to myself. I was still lost in thoughts when Kate called my attention back:
“Grace, say something! You are calling off the wedding, right?” She asked.
“But how do I call off my wedding that is about six hours from now?” I asked, looking confused.
“It’s simple; don’t show up. Once it’s 6:00am, I will call a cab and he will take you to our maternal grandmother place; stay there until everything is over; stay there for one week” Kate said.
“What says the time?” I asked and we checked the wall clock together; it was 2:15am; just six hours to my wedding; six hours to say “I do” with Frank.
“There is still time for you to make up your mind. Frank is not the only man on earth. If you don’t marry him today, you will marry another guy in future” Kate tried to convince me.
“But, I love Frank so much” I told her in a tune that potrayed a child who doesn’t know his left and right.
“But if you marry him, you will die. Which one is better? Leaving Frank and staying alive or marry him and die?”
“I don’t want to dรฎe!” I said in a concerned voice. Dear you, please wait and hear me out… I notice that you read my story and refuse to encourage me with your LIKES, COMMENT AND SHARE. It’s making me want to give up.

“Then run away! Don’t continue with this wedding. Run to a very faraway place. Where he can’t find you” Kate said.
“But what will people say? How will our parents feel if I run away on my wedding day? If all the people they have invited comes, and all my friends and colleagues at work comes but I’m nowhere to be found, how will they feel?. It’s a big shame, you know? If I come back from my hiding place, how will I over come the shame. Everyone will start pointing fingers at me. Anywhere I go, people will say; see that lady that ran away on her wedding day”
“And after three months of pointing fingers at you, everyone will rest and you will be alive and live your life than to die in marriage” Kate said.
“I don’t think I can endure the shame. I’m not running away. What if Frank is not who you think he is? What if this dream is a symptom of malaria? No! I will not run away on my wedding day. I will married to Frank today. I will not disappoint him; ” I told Kate.
“Remember, whenever you dream, it comes to pass. There is no dream that you have ever dreamt that didn’t come to pass. Think twice, Grace! It’s your life that’s at stake here. I will be going back to my bed now; if you finally decide to run away, I’m a few steps away; you can call on me” Kate told me and left my bed. She went back to her bed, which was at the other edge of the room and laid.
Right from childhood, Kate and I have been each other’s best friend. We know each other’s secret, weakness and strength. We don’t hid anything from ourselves and hardly lie to each other. We share the same room, but sleeps on different beds because, even though we like to do things together and we have a lot in common, we still like our spaces.
I watched Kate cover herself with her duvet in and angry manner, the way she always do whenever she tells me to avoid what she knows will harm me and if I don’t avoid that thing, it will definitely harm me, as if she is a prophetess. Anytime Kate tells me what to do about something that she presume will affect me negativly and I tend to be indecisive at that moment, she always go back to her bed and cover herself with her duvet. If we are not in our room that moment, she will go to a corner and sit like someone who’s undergoing maltreatment.
I kept watching Kate, hoping she would turn towards me or come back to my bed but she didn’t and at this point, it drawn on me that I was alone; that she had left me to think about what to do about my marriage which was few minutes to come.
