A few years back, Wizkid wrote some songs for Drake, and one of them, “One Dance,” became a massive hit. However, Drake’s team removed Wizkid’s verse leaving him with only backup vocals.
Later, Wizkid invited Drake to collaborate on his track “Come Closer,” but Drake didn’t appear in the video. Even after releasing the official video, Drake never shared or mentioned the collaboration.
Fast forward to 2024, and Drake is now eager and saying Wizkid inspired him because of the success of ‘One Dance’.
